For the Humanitarian/Development Worker in You

This poem is dedicated to all wonderful people who are contributing in numerous ways in the development/humanitarian sector to make this world a better place. This poem is a reminder to each one of us that it is only when we are full of light that we can enlighten others.

You, me and many like us should never forget that we are supported and backed by people like us who may be visible (or invisible) to us and are constantly working hard for development that is sustainable. So, even if you sleep for a while, they’ll take care of the communities and societies. They’ll take care of this world and its people.
